Back to their childhood
Is where they're all thrown
What was your childhood flood?
Remembering traces in the faces
Of your aunts and dear old uncle

Or maybe it was my sister
That let me run through the wet grass
Unreliable, she caves in
A gleeful task set ahead
Back then really was no dead-ends
For us young, us fast

Those days you stayed inside
Those grey, peculiar, smoky days
Times when sound would echo to the playing fog
A dull radiance that would keep all thoughts monochrome
My babysitter's face which still sits in this mind
Red-faced, she tells me I thought differently
But how I am to remember this so accurately?

An emotion; it cannot be but a thought
Shot out in chemicals
Reducing colors, reducing levels
Waving, pulsating, rippling...
These thoughts bring fear to my mind;
These thoughts bring chemicals to my brain

Meltdown, meltdown, meltdown

It all melts down to flesh and blood
Relation, creation...
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Was there ever just a chicken and an egg?

Who is just flesh?
Just something I've written recently.
